Jetty Kuah

It's a year end vacation for the end of 2011 for G's Family. In 2009 we were at Cameron and 2010 we didn't go anywhere as early middle of the year we already  went to Pulau Besar Johor.

So for 2011, we all decided to spend our family holiday at Langkawi from 23rd Dec until 26th Dec. Planned for almost 2/3 month earlier, but end up not really went well with what we have planned however saya redha, kita merancang, tuhan yang tentukan. Janji budak-budak yang enjoy sudah.

Macam "GOmbak Rindu" kata, redha itu ikhlas, pasrah itu menyerah. Eh, tiba-tiba?

Okaylah, this is my 4th or 5th time ke Langkawi, tak berapa nak ingat. My Last visit  to Langkawi was with Razi, my so-called honeymoon la sangat, 5 years back if I'm not mistaken-lah. Boooooo! 

First time for my kids and several times for my Razi. Seriously Langkawi has no longer under sumpahan Mahsuri and the island was totally highly developed but somehow I rasa the visitors pula akan "sumpah" Langkawi for the un-sytematic Ferry schedule and so on and also the jetty condition. Oh, pihak majlis, please upgrade the system! Okay, stop complaining Lily, perlu salahkan diri sendiri juga kot sebab pergi time super peak season so visitors memang macam ulat taik! T_T

Adam first time naik ferry and early this year when Adam still dalam perut tapi dia dah naik bot Penambang Sarawak. Coolio! Jasmin was sitting with nenek behind, need to be separate as she always get jealous with me and Adam.

This was a first time Jasmin travel to North and it takes lebih kurang 8/10 hrs drive to reach Kuala Perlis. We all bertolak dari Seremban on Friday night and Saturday morning reached jetty Kuala Perlis. And baru tahu masa lalu kat Ipoh, there's no more toll yang sebelum naik bukit koner-koner tu. Huuuuu lamanya tak ke Utara. 

Okay, it's easy to find parking near the jetty but a bit expensive cos total 3 days we park was about RM30/car, no other choice so we have to go for it. And it is advise to booked your ferry ticket earlier especially during peak season as you will find the queue akan panjang menjela macam ular kena palu. Shhhoooo many people sampaikan kena tolak-tolak orang baru boleh berjalan tolak troley. Pfftttt!

Siap ada buaian budak-budak kat depan rumah.

We stayed at a homestay Kg Tangga Batu (kalau tak silap lah nama kampung tu) about 10 minutes drive from Kuah. We stayed in a double storey semi-D house with the kampung environment siap ada sawah kat sebelah rumah. Comfortable dan sangat besar untuk masuk lebih kurang 5/6 family. Okay lah, experience dapat tinggal dengan local people of Langkawi. Tapi it was difficult nak faham dialek mereka. Sangat U-ta-ra. Apa pun baik dari akak sebelah rumah sampailah ke kedai makan tepi jalan, semuanya ramah mesra.

Adam pun sangat enjoy buaian yang ada di depan rumah. Seronok duduk petang pagi nikmati angin dan asap orang kampung bakar sampah. 

Bila di Langkawi, Makam Mahsuri memang la wajib kena lawat. Selain tu perlu ke kabel car langkawi dan boleh la ke pantai chenang kalau tak sempat nak pergi island hopping.



Overall the holiday is okaylah  for me but inside out ada sikit calar balar sana sini. T_T Okaylah, tak perlu nak bercerabeh panjang lebar, can't write more coz tak berapa nak sihat hari ni due to flu and sore throat and on Medical leave today *yawn*, infected dari Jasmin, so layan lah all the pictures saya attached here. It tells u a thousand stories.

Okay, silly lily was not joining for island hopping cos already took the first boat early in the morning to rushed back to Seremban as the next morning Jasmin had to attend her kindy orientation day. Sekian terima kasih.
