Jasmin and Adam; First Day of School

Assalammualaikum Kiddos, 

Tadika Tunas Ilmiah, Tmn Nusa Intan, Senawang

Today is the first day of school for both my kiddos; Jasmin and Adam.

Tis year, ai enroll them to the nearest kindy, Tadika Tunas Ilmiah at Taman Nusa Intan, Senawang. Only few steps away from my house. Senang nak hantar, senang nak ambik.

My happy smiling little girl is going to school today!

Alhamdulillah, Jasmin has no problem at all nak bersiap pagi ni ke sekolah. Tis year she is attending the 6 years old class and supposely she have no problem at all on the fisrt day of school sebab literally she already undergo kindy since she was 4 years old. Enjoy ur last year in kindy my girl cos next year u'll be in Standard One!

Cerita Adam?
 Hahaha-haru! 
Tis year ai enroll Adam to playgroup. Altho' baru 3 years old tapi ai want him to be independent. Ai know it's too early for him, but Adam has learn lot of things from his sister and dats make him nak try dan ikot apa yang Jasmin buat. 

Summore, to develope his inner skills like confidency level and self esteem, so ai enroll him tis year, eventho' he still pakai diapers but the good thing is they will teach Adam toilet training. So, my expectation is that Adam can fully use the toilet for wee-wee and ook-ook by middle of tis year. In Sha Allah.

Anyway, here are some pictures ai took from their teacher's facebook. Today is more like orientation session for the kids and hope they enjoy the session for the rest of the day.

Nampaknya Adam masih berkepit dengan teacher dia! It's good to see the kindy provide a welcome cake on the first day of school for the children and the hat look's cute! Macam ada party pulak. :)

Shooo cute cat. Hope Adam boleh get along with each other soon. But ai wonder y baju dia dah tukar awal. Huehuehue.

Haha! No more Darius, now she have Umar as her new friend.

Jasmin First Day of School

I have lots of story to share regarding Jasmin especially tentang first time she go to kindergarten.

Jasmin starts her kindy class early as she has to attend orientation class on the 27th. So she had the rest of the week "orientated" with all the new teachers n friends and the surroundings and week full of crying and shouting. Owh what a week. I had to keep myself with her for the whole week and after 8am plus plus i have to shoot to kj for work. Owh what a hectic week for me. Anyway, the teachers really helping especially teacher sharifah and teacher kelly to look after my jasmin. I took MC on the first day cos i dont feel confident to let her be with the teachers alone. Biasalah jasmin..... And on the afternoon kena paw dgn dia kfc and guest what she told me she dont want to go to school again tmrw. Pffffftttsss!

Her happy face on her first day of orientation. Sgt happy dan teruja okay! But not until she found out that majority kids her age starts to cry aaaaaand apalagi jasmin pun turut serta join the club.

Inside her class with her friend, Putri. This little girl is very good cos langsung tak nangis. Cool jer.... But not like jasmin.

In front of the class with teacher sharifah. She is a very good and kind and informative teacher. For the time being jasmin will be in her class temporary to make sure that jasmin is comfortable with the school environment.

Despite of all the crying, only this playground can stop her from shouting "nak balik nak balik".

Probably she must be thinking that school is just about playing with all the gelongsor and those jongkang jongket. Huhuhu

And jasmin is in class 4 Strawberry.

Okay, as updated today she is now more cool than the other day. Once she is in her classroom she starts to play. Anyway, she still crying in front of the school and very hard to wake her up in the morning and ask her to go shower as we all know jasmin memaaaaaaang liat nak mandi.

And yesterday she told me one of her friend minum ribena dia sampai habes. Haih kindy pun ada geng buli kah? Huhuhu. Nevermind jasmin sharing is caring but still u need to know the limits!

To be concluded here, jasmin's going to school, im happy, and it makes me think that my little baby girl is big enuff to make me feel old.

But im still young at heart, always.........

Ibu Jasmin dalam misi pencarian!

Title ala-ala amazing race asia sket.

As for our concern, Jasmin will turn up 3 y.o. next year dan saya kini sedang pening kepala memikirkan "kindergarten" mana yang sesuai untuk Jasmin. Saya makin pening kepala apabila setiap kali, setiap pagi terserempak "kindergarten" apabila on the way ke nenek house, setiap kali itu juga Jasmin akan cakap;

".....Ibu, nak gi schooi....! "(sambil mulut memuncung ke arah "kindergarten" tersebut) 

Waktu zaman saya kecil dulu-dulu tak sama macam zaman Jasmin sekarang ni. Saya tidak berpeluang langsung nak menjejakkan kaki ke tadika. Saya tidak pernah kenal erti tadika dan yang saya tahu, saya hanya duduk di rumah, terus terusan bermain, bermain dan bermain, bersama-sama anak jiran yang lebih muda dari usia saya ketika itu. 

Saya tidak pernah menyentuh atau mengenal buku-buku tadika tetapi seingat saya, saya hanya memiliki satu Jigsaw Puzzle ABC yang mempunyai gambar-gambar menerangkan setiap huruf. Itu sahaja yang saya gunakan untuk mengenali ABC pertama saya. Tetapi saya bernasib baik kerana saya mempunyai kakak-kakak dan abang yang sudi menunjuk ajar saya walaupun bukan untuk sepenuh masa.

Hidup kami bukanlah dari background yang senang. Babah dan mommy perlu bekerja keras bagi menyara kami 6 beradik. Walaupun mereka jarang mempunyai masa untuk anak-anak, tetapi mereka ada cara tersendiri mendidik dan membesarkan kami sama seperti anak-anak orang lain.


Quality time yang mereka ada, mereka cuba isikan dengan aktiviti educational seperti "scrabble". Bagi saya, "scrabble" time tu memang sudah jadi aktiviti yang paling best ever!


Seingat saya, saya mula belajar membaca apabila saya berada dalam darjah satu. Di situ permulaan saya menerima ilmu yang mencurah-curah dan tidak ternilainya.


Owh, last week , I went to visit one of my relative yang anaknya baru je dapat result UPSR. 1000x Tahniah! Seikhlas dan terharu ucapan tahniah saya! Eventough tak perfect straight A's tetapi result yang diterima memang diluar expectation ramai orang. Dia bukan dari keluarga yang senang, bukan dari latar belakang yang "great-la-sangat" tetapi dia berjaya buktikan dengan usaha diri sendiri, dia mampu untuk jadi yang terbaik. Memang tabik kat budak kecik ni! She remind me of lil'lily suatu masa dahulu.


Saya tidak pernah ke tadika.
Saya tidak pernah di hantar ke tuisyen.
Tidak pernah menghadiri sebarang kelas tambahan.
Saya tidak pernah menghadiri sebarang ceramah motivasi.


Apa yang dibekalkan semasa saya menjawab keempat-empat paper exam UPSR ketika itu adalah doa-doa dari orang-orang yang sentiasa ingin melihat kejayaan saya. 3As are enough to make my parent proud of me.


Okaylah, back to the earlier part, last two week saya ada ke tadika berdekatan dengan area rumah saya. Dengan satu tujuan dan satu harapan kalau boleh mereka dapat menerima Jasmin as a kindy-student early January next year. Sedikit hampa bagi saya dan juga Jasmin as they required someone yang dah independent on managing her own toilet-wee-wee-ook-ook-matters!


The owner, Pn Rashidah of Tadika Amal Al AnFaal, advise me to let her enjoy her life first as she will spend another 10 to 20 years more on books and school. Worried if she might getting bored because to much of school time.


Anyway, I am so interested with the kindy (sama macam Jasmin jugak!) as they provide what I really wanted for Jasmin such as hygienic concern, friendly teachers and they can communicate in English, enjoyable environment, they provide syllabus from Anakku and Ladybird Peter & Jane and the most important thing is they teach Iqra' (selain dari fees yang berbaloi-baloi dan monthly payment yang sangaaaaat reasonable.)


Sadly, admission is only for the 4 years old children and above and they conduct the class until 12 noon only. So, there are lot of things that I need to consider especially on the matters who wants to baby sit Jasmin on the other half day.


Sejujurnya, saya tidak mahu dilihat sebagai seorang yang fussy dalam hal seperti ini tetapi sedikit sebanyak bagi saya sudah tentu saya inginkan sesuatu yang terbaik bagi zuriat amanah tuhan ini. Selagi saya mampu, saya cuba beri yang terbaik.

p.s. I've received one e-mail recently tentang kejayaan seseorang itu dapat di capai jika kita sentiasa berfikiran positif. Cuba bersifat "tuli" dengan apa jua kata atau tulisan yang negatif dan terus mencapai cita-cita. Dan pastikan juga semuanya adalah kerana "lillahitaala".
